ASSIST provides advisory and technical support services to key stakeholders in the sector including to MFIs, SHPIs, donors, industry associations, apex Development Finance Institutions such as SIDBI and NABARD, Bilateral and multilateral organizations, etc. These include conducting Institutional Capacity Assessments, Code of Conduct and Client Protection Assessments, research based studies and providing technical advisory for program strategy development and implementation.
ACCESS-ASSIST, through its ACCESS Microfinance Alliance (AmFA), provides specific technical services to AmFA members. This helps ASSIST to streamline its TA delivery. In addition, ASSIST also supports its partners to link with banks for bulk on-lending funds through regional Business Meets organized in different regions like a marketplace. Currently, there are about 70+ members within AmFA, most of whom are the smaller NGO-MFIs, and a few SHPIs.
